Morning Kitchen

Privacy Policy

Last updated 19 August 2026

Morning Kitchen (“we”, “us”) is a recipe, meal-planning, and shopping-list app for iPhone, Android, and the web at morningkitchen.app. This policy describes what we collect, why, and how you can delete it. We do not sell your data or show third-party ads.

Who is responsible

Morning Kitchen is operated by Carlos Natera. Questions: naterac@gmail.com. More contact options: Support.

What we collect

  • Account. Display name and sign-in identity. Sign-in may use Sign in with Apple, Google, email and password, or Facebook once those methods are offered. Authentication and database hosting are provided by our cloud provider.
  • Recipes and photos you create or upload, including ingredients, steps, tags, nutrition you enter, and optional source attribution.
  • Meal plans and trolley. Plan titles, meal slots, servings, and shopping-list check-off.
  • Social. Public recipes you choose to share, likes, stars, comments, friends, follows, blocks, and reports you file.
  • Preferences. Language and appearance you set in the app. Device identifiers needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising IDs or track you across other companies’ apps.

What we do not collect

We do not take payment-card numbers, bank logins, or precise location. We do not sell personal data. On-device photo reading and (on supported phones) recipe translation stay on the device.

Why we use it

Only to run Morning Kitchen: create your account, sync your kitchen across phones, show meal plans and the trolley, and let you take part in the public market if you choose to.

Who can see your data

Private recipes, plans, and trolley items are yours. Public recipes and your public profile can be seen by other signed-in cooks. People you block will not see your market posts in their lists. Our hosting provider stores the database and files under our project. We do not sell access to advertisers.

How long we keep it

Account and kitchen data stay until you delete the account or we are legally required to keep a subset. A copy also lives on your phone so plan and trolley work offline; signing out or deleting the account wipes that copy on the device.

Delete your account

In the app: open your profile → Delete account and confirm. That removes your profile and signs you out. Step-by-step instructions: Delete your account. You can also email naterac@gmail.com.

Children

Morning Kitchen is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country). Do not create an account for a child.

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date above. Continued use of Morning Kitchen after an update means you accept the revised policy.
